About
A theatre. A movement. A family since 1998.
Unique Theater Club exists at the intersection of artistic excellence, talent development and community transformation.
Our Story
Nearly three decades of performance.
UNITEC was founded in 1998 with a simple conviction: that theatre and the performing arts can change lives. From a small ensemble of passionate young performers, we have grown into one of Zambia's most respected performing arts institutions.
For more than 25 years we have staged productions, run camps, taught workshops, mentored emerging artists, and used drama, dance, music, film and storytelling to engage communities on the issues that matter most.
Our work spans schools, churches, community halls, national festivals, and international stages — wherever a story needs to be told.
Vision
Globally respected. Intercultural. Transformational.
To become a globally respected and intercultural powerhouse of performing arts, talent development, creative innovation, and community transformation, inspiring generations through exceptional artistic excellence and purposeful performance.
Mission
Educate. Entertain. Inspire. Transform.
To educate, entertain, inspire, and transform individuals and communities through exceptional theatre and performing arts experiences while nurturing talent, preserving culture, advancing leadership, and promoting positive social change.
